This book has been very helpful to me so far... I was half way through when Game Coding Complete arrived and I guess I got a bit sidetracked
It has already helped me improve the physical design of my projects, and has helped make my first large-scale endeavour much more manageable.

Yeah, I really think this book should be up there with design patterns.
