Hey Mr. Mike
I sent you an email on "20 Sep 2003", and just got back a message that said it couldn't find the mailbox.
Anyway, here is the part of the message that still applies:

I may have a little tip that could help you. I noticed the
email address on your site (webmaster*at*mcshaffry.com) uses a
spam protection method of using the following characters *at*
inside of your e-mail address instead of the @ symbol. While
this works, there are also other methods which are not
misleading to regular users and also allow you to keep the
email address clickable.
The best method is by using the following text in your source code:
<a href="&#109;&#97;&#105;&#108;&#116;&#111;
&#58;&#119;&#101;&#98;&#109;&#97;&#115;
&#116;&#101;&#114;&#64;&#109;&#99;&#115;
&#104;&#97;&#102;&#102;&#114;&#121;&#46;
&#99;&#111;&#109;">&#119;&#101;&#98;&
#109;&#97;&#115;&#116;&#101;&#114;&#64;&
#109;&#99;&#115;&#104;&#97;&#102;&#102;&
#114;&#121;&#46;&#99;&#111;&#109;</a>
It uses Unicode characters to stop the spammers, but will display
like following in a browser:
webmaster@mcshaffry.com
Which will make it much easier for your visitors to e-mail you. I'm
not sure if you knew about this or not, but I thought I would let
you know anyway just in case. Also there is a program that will
automatically make the conversion for you and it's 100% free.
... OK I'm talking too much I'll just give you the program
description that I grabbed from shellcity.net :
E CLOAKER.......... E_Cloaker 2.0 is a simple utility that converts
the characters of email addresses and text into browser-readable
Unicode, making it more difficult for spam extractor 'bots to harvest
email addresses from your web page.....(free).....GO THERE!
That's all, hope it helped and you haven't fallen asleep,
