    • Finaly started doing what I always wanted

So I always want to develop games every since I could move a mouse and play Dungeon Keeper.

So I finaly decided to do something and after 2 days of wildy searching amazon I decided to buy this book.

I am now at chapter 3 and have never looked at any c++ code, even so the only programming langauge I understand a little bit is lua ( played roblox as a kid ).

So I was hoping somebody on the forum could direct to some beginner c++ tutorials online ?

      Thanks in advance,
      Dantalion

    • Do you understand German, too? If so you could start by using this tutorial: Video2Brain C++ its just for the beginnings.

Another good German book is the following. It will teach you all the basics from variables, pointers, templates to classes. At the end you are able to program a little 2D Game with SDL. The code in there should work on other platforms than Windows as far as I know.

Its the stuff I used in order to learn C++, thus I can't recommend any english books / tutorials what so ever.
    • Thank you I took a quick look at it and it seems like a great place to start,

Ill be sure to check it out this weekend :)
