I actually came across this book while shelving it.. (I used to work in a large format bookstore(chapters) something like a barnes and noble to you americans)

The appealing cover design struck my interest right away.. and as it was a GAME PROGRAMMING book
i perused through it instantly..

i found the concepts in the book extremely well organized and easy to follow. as a bonus mrmikes tales from the pixel mines also made the book a very interesting read.

The only thing i would like to see more of would be even more logic/ code for the main loop.

The price of this book is even friendly.. a lot of good game programming books( and even not so good ones) run upwards of $100(canadian) while this one was at a nice $60

so buy it!
