    • Perforce and Git are both really cool VCS's, I have been experimenting with them both in different projects, one project I am working on called IndieSWF which is a branch of the GameSWF library is using Git, and after the initial push of the files, it is EXTREMELY fast for pushing. I know it is well known for not working with binary files, so far I only use it for code.

Perforce I am using for the art assets in our game and it is pretty impressive, I find it is the same as Git as in first time submissions are average in speed, however modifications are really fast.

SVN is nice, but I find it is fading as my favourite VCS, it has some issues, and is not relatively fast, and the tools for it, besides windows, are mediocre at best. The thing I noticed about Perforce is that the tools on Windows/Linux/Mac are identical, not even a single difference, which is very cool.
